The CIES Football Observatory have revealed the most valuable players in the Premier League, but only one Liverpool player has managed to get into the top ten despite the Reds winning the title

The Premier League‘s top 10 most valuable players have been revealed, with Ryan Gravenberch the only Liverpool star making the list despite Arne Slot‘s men romping to the title last season. The Reds cruised to victory after seeing off nearest rivals Arsenal by one point and had a series of standout players who inspired their triumph.

The CIES Football Observatory list revealed that the Dutchman had come in at number nine with a value of £82million.

The next two highest Liverpool players finished just outside of the top ten, with Dominik Szoboszlai coming 11th – just below Chelsea’s Nicolas Jackson – with a value of £79m, while Cody Gakpo was 12th with a value of £77.6m.

Further down the list, Alexis Mac Allister came in at 21st as the Argentine midfielder was valued at £67.4m. Liverpool will feel hard done by given they had a number of starring displays across the season, though star man Mohamed Salah won’t have been included because he is about to turn 33.

The highest-valued Premier League player, by some distance, was Manchester City’s Erling Haaland. The Norwegian was rated at a whopping £201.6m after his incredible impact at the Etihad to score 121 goals in 142 games.

Haaland was far ahead of his next nearest rival in the Premier League as Chelsea’s Cole Palmer was valued in second at £106.5m following two superb seasons with the Blues.

The top five was rounded off by Arsenal’s Bukayo Saka (£96.9m), Aston Villa’s Morgan Rogers (£96.1m) and Newcastle’s Alexander Isak (£86.7m).

The rest of the top ten was filled up by Manchester City duo Savinho and Josko Gvardiol – both valued at £84m – and Arsenal’s Declan Rice at the same price.

Looking at the overall value table for every player in Europe, the only player who found themselves above Haaland was Barcelona’s 17-year-old starlet Lamine Yamal. He was valued at a stunning £338.7m.

Jude Bellingham was also high up in the standings, coming third behind Haaland with a value of £196.8m.

The England star trumped his Real Madrid team-mate Kylian Mbappe, who was rated at £162m. Below him in fifth was Bayern Munich’s Jamal Musiala (£130.3m), while Vinicius Jr (£109.7m) was at seventh.

Palmer was just below Vinicius in eighth, while former Manchester City star Julian Alvarez (£106m) and Liverpool-bound Florian Wirtz (£102.9m) completed the top ten.
