After a lot of contemplation, Johnny confides in Chanel about all of his worries. Javi continues his path in looking for answers by questioning Leo. Meanwhile, Xander and Kate make some not-so-good plans together. Tony and Anna reunite after being apart for a very long time, and Gwen lays out her schemes to EJ.
Wednesday, December 31
On the New Year’s Eve episode, Belle and Melinda negotiate a risky deal, while Kristen lands herself in a world of trouble, which could be life-changing for her. The DiMera brothers gather to assess the situation and come up with a solution. When Chad and Cat stumble upon each other, their encounter brings a certain discomfort. Sophia and Rachel get surprise visits as they prepare to head into a new year.
Thursday, January 1
After Johnny’s confession, Chanel feels a bit of resentment towards him. Gwen and Gabi come to a common ground that helps them mend their relationship. As the Hernandez family makes the final preparations for Javi and Leo’s wedding, the latter seeks Marlena for a special request.
Friday, January 2
Leo and Javi exchange their heartfelt vows in a beautiful ceremony. Elsewhere, Gwen erupts with frustration, hinting at incoming drama. Meanwhile, Steve is taken aback when Kayla makes a surprising gesture. The week ends with Alex buying a heartfelt present that Stephanie will hopefully love.
