It’s time to welcome Hatsume Miku back to Hong Kong. Hatsune Miku, the world’s most popular virtual singer, will be back in Hong Kong on November 8, 2025, at the AsiaWorld-Expo for an electrifying concert. Get ready for a night of high-energy performance and breathtaking visuals.

All the details about the 2025 Hatsune Miku concert in Hong Kong

Hatsune Miku’s upcoming concert in Hong Kong is part of the Hatsune Miku Expo, a global live concert tour that celebrates digital creativity and the future of pop performance. Expect the show to combine thrilling performances, impressive visuals, and fan-favourite hits.

Tickets cost HKD 1488 (VIP), HKD 888, HKD 688, and HKD 488, respectively. VIP package includes one Free Standing ticket, early venue entry, a collectable lanyard pass, and themed merchandise. Seats are available in the seating and standing zones. Purchase tickets through HK Ticketing here.

Meet the world’s most famous virtual star

Hatsune Miku is a software-generated singer developed by Crypton Future Media. The Vocaloid has gained a loyal fan base since its release in 2007. The “singer” is a teenage girl with turquoise pig tails who performs live virtual concerts onstage via a 3D holographic projection.

The character’s name comes from the words for “first” (‘hatsu’), “sound” (‘ne’), and “future” (‘miku’). Together, it means “the first sound of the future”. Miku’s voice is modelled after Japanese voice actress Saki Fujita. There had been 100,000 songs under the name “Hatsune Miku”. In 2020, Miku was announced as a performer at Coachella, which was eventually cancelled due to the pandemic.
