THE UK’s best restaurants have been revealed in a huge hospitality award ceremony – check below to see if your local made the list.
The AA Hospitality Awards have crowned their winners for the best dining spots across the UK.
The glamorous event, hosted by Vernon Kay, saw a number of awards handed out to the top dining spots across the UK.
Commenting on the awards, Simon Numphud, managing director at AA Media, said: “This celebration highlights the passion, creativity and resilience that define UK hospitality.
“The teams have turned challenges into opportunities, inspiring us with their innovation and dedication.
He added: “Congratulations to all winners, nominees and new Rosette holders – your achievements deserve recognition today and set a shining example for the future of our industry.”
Four dining spots across England, Scotland and Wales were crowned the best places to eat in the UK.
That includes Skof, a Michelin star restaurant in Manchester, which is owned by Tom Barnes.
The joint serves a range of posh nosh, including confit chicken wing and glazed lobster.
Customers have praised the spots “amazing” selection of food and “phenomenal” dining experience.
Joséphine in London was also named the best restaurant in the capital.
Located on the Fulham Road this spot has been praised for its French comfort food.
Diners can expect to dine on classic dishes from the country, including onion soup and souffle.
One happy customer gave this glowing review: “A very quaint and authentic French bistro like the kind you find in Paris.”
In Scotland, The Little Chartroom was crowned the best in the region.
The Edinburgh haunt dishes up seasonal dishes and offers tasting and à la carte options.
Diners have praised the spots “magnificent lunch” and “excellent dinner.”
In Wales, Gorse in Cardiff came out on top. This is a modern Welsh restaurant by Tom Waters in the suburb of Pontcanna.
It is a Michelin-starred haunt that serves a range of dishes including trout tartlet and roasted monkfish.
Customers have described it as a “phenomenal” dining experience.
While another diner said the spot served up “so many fantastic Welsh flavours”.
A total of 25 eateries were recognised for their great grub and service.
A number of haunts were also given new rosettes.
These recognise outstanding cooking at various levels within the UK’s culinary scene and are awarded by experienced AA inspectors on a scale of 1 to 5 rosettes.
Two chains were given the highest award of 5 rosettes. These include Forest Side in Grasmere and Row on 5 in London.

More top spots in the UK
There are plenty of other top restaurants and pubs in the UK which are worth trying out.
Over the summer, the English Curry Awards have announced its winner for the top curry restaurant of the year.
The overall winner for the best curry restaurant went to Sher Khan in Alnwick.
The Northumberland restaurant has a strong 4.7 rating on TripAdvisor, with fans praising its “friendly reception” and “tasty food”.
More recently, the Great British Pub Awards has announced its shortlist of finalists across categories including Best Beer Pub, Best Pub Garden and Best Country Pub.
Six pubs have been nominated in each category, with the eventual winners revealed later this month.
