Ukraine U-13 Football Team Begins Training Camp in Italy

As reported by the Ukrainian Association of Football’s press service

Since the beginning of November, Ukraine’s youth national football team, made up of players born in 2010, has begun a training camp in Italy.

During the camp, the team played the first of two planned friendly matches against peers from Italy. The match ended in a 2-6 defeat for Ukraine.

Goals: Ekharevba (11th minute), Bernamonte (23rd minute), Scaglione (29th minute), Pipito (52nd minute, from a penalty; 56th minute, from a penalty), Salvaye (77th minute) – for Italy; Ilya Bodak (18th minute), Damir Gonchenko (48th minute) – for Ukraine.

Second Friendly Match and Plans for the Future

The second match against Italian peers is scheduled for November 6. After that, the team will continue the training camp in Italy, focusing on tactics, physical conditioning, and gathering experience for future matches.
