Two Penn State Alum Make Premier Lacrosse League All-Star Game Roster

Two former Penn State men’s lacrosse players were chosen to rosters in the Premier Lacrosse League (PLL) All-Star game on Saturday.

TJ Malone and Matt Traynor will both represent Team East for the weekend, as Traynor was the only rookie selected as a starter. Malone is listed as injured on the PLL website.

Malone has played in five games for the Maryland Whipsnakes this season, totalling 13 goals and 8 assists. This is his second season in the league, after being named Rookie of the Year last season. Throughout his PLL career, the attacker has 37 goals, 33 assists, and 34 ground balls.

Traynor has had a standout start to his rookie year after being selected No. 6 overall by the New York Atlas in the draft. He has played in 13 games, notching seven goals and six assists.
