Newcastle United could struggle to keep hold of midfielder Bruno Guimarães this summer, with Paris Saint-Germain, Arsenal and Manchester United all showing interest, reports The Sun.
Guimaraes has a release clause of £100 million and, with several top European clubs alert to the prospect of Newcastle having to facilitate departures, Eddie Howe and Co. may have their work cut out keeping the midfield star. Newcastle will reportedly have to offload several players this summer to ensure they comply with Financial Fair Play regulations, which leaves the Magpies vulnerable to losing Guimaraes.
It is reported that the Brazil international is keen to play in the UEFA Champions League, which eighth-placed Newcastle will not be able to offer next season. The report indicates that this has caught the attention of PSG, who have monitored the 26-year-old for over a year.
With PSG set to lose Kylian Mbappé this summer, the French outfit are likely to undergo a reshuffle in personnel ahead of next season. The report suggests that the release clause of £100m will not be a deterrent for the French giants.
While Manchester United and Arsenal are also understood to be tracking the playmaker, it is reported that PSG are leading the race for Guimaraes.

– Liverpool and Manchester United are monitoring Bayer Leverkusen left-back Jeremie Frimpong ahead of the summer, per Football Insider. The report reveals that the duo will also face competition from Arsenal for the 23-year-old. Frimpong has a £35m release clause, which the report reveals is viewed as a “bargain” by Premier League clubs. Liverpool are well-placed to secure a deal in the event Trent Alexander-Arnold makes a permanent switch to midfield.
– Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal hold an interest in Newcastle United forward Alexander Isak, according to Football Insider. The report indicates that Newcastle will likely part ways with a key player this summer in order to balance the books to ensure compliance with Financial Fair Play rules. It is reported that Arsenal have identified the 24-year-old as an option, while Spurs have now joined their rivals in the pursuit of the Sweden international.
– AC Milan must stump up €30m to secure a deal for AS Monaco midfielder Youssouf Fofana, but will face competition from the Premier League, reveals Calciomercato. The Germany international is out of contract in 2025 and, with no indication that he will agree a new deal with the Bavarian outfit, Bayern could be under pressure to offload Kimmich this summer to ensure he does not leave as a free agent next year.
