TradingView introduces real-time news alerts

TradingView is introducing news alerts – a feature that notifies traders the moment a news item that matches their custom News Flow filter is published.

TradingView users can tap this functionality to catch events important to them — earnings, company news, macro shifts — exactly as they happen.

Many traders use fundamental analysis, a big part of which is reading the news to stay informed about recent regulations and the ever-changing market landscape. News notifications ensure you never miss important updates, so you can react in time and make informed decisions.

To get started, create a News Flow filter template by selecting the tickers, watchlists, topics, or providers you want to follow. Then, enable the “News Alert” toggle. If the flow hasn’t been saved yet, it will be saved automatically.

Once the alert is active, you’ll see an alarm clock icon next to the flow in the Flows menu or in the Open Flow dialog. When any news matches your selected criteria, you’ll receive a notification.

If you want to change your alert, simply enable it in another flow, it will automatically move there.

News Flow is your up-to-date hub for financial events in the world of trading and investing. With it, you can find the latest articles and press releases on what moves the markets and the global economy, and get insights from top outlets and providers.
