The announcement came through a post on his social media platform X.“Today, the America Party is formed to give you back your freedom,” Musk wrote, referring to a poll he had earlier conducted on X.In the same post, Musk said, “By a factor of 2 to 1, you want a new political party and you shall have it! Should we create the America Party?” The poll results showed 65.4% voting “Yes” and 34.6% voting “No.”This move follows Musk’s departure from the Trump administration and his exit from DOGE.The businessman had hinted multiple times at launching a new political party after his public fallout with US President Trump.
