Tecno Camon 30, 30 5G and 30 Pro officially launch


Tecno introduced a four-strong Camon 30 series during MWC 2024 in Barcelona – Camon 30, Camon 30 5G, Camon 30 Pro, and the mightiest of them all Camon 30 Premier. Today, the company began the market rollout of the first three, while the flagship will arrive later in April.

Tecno Camon 30 Pro has a Dimensity 8200 chipset and two nicely sounding cameras at the back – 50 MP 1/1.56″ main with OIS and a 50 MP ultrawide camera. The front-facing camera has another 50 MP sensor.

The Camon 30 5G steps down to a Dimensity 7020 chip but matches the 6.78” AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution. It also gets a 50 MP selfie and a 50 MP main camera with OIS, with fractionally smaller 1/1.57” sensor.

Finally, the Camon 30 has a 5,000 mAh battery with 70W charging and a Helio G99 chipset as its highlights.

Tecno Camon 30 Pro, Camon 30 5G, and Camon 30 4G are already on sale across various markets in Africa. The series will gradually expand to all 70+ markets around the world. Pricing will be announced separately for each according to individual market.
