Senegalese-Italian influencer Khaby Lame, the most followed figure on a short video platform, began his journey in China on September 9 and has attracted significant attention in the country.

Lame boasts 162 million followers on TikTok, where he is celebrated for his silent videos that humorously critique overly complicated life hacks. According to Forbes, his net worth is estimated at US$20 million.

His wordless reactions in his videos have earned him the nickname “Speechless Brother” or wuyu ge in Chinese.
