Milan may have to do without both of their star attackers in Rafael Leao and Christian Pulisic for Sunday’s Serie A headliner against Bologna in San Siro.
Massimiliano Allegri has confirmed that Leao will be unavailable against Bologna, and that he is likely to miss next week’s game against Udinese as well after picking up an injury in the first round of the Coppa Italia against Bari in August.
Pulisic, meanwhile, was in international action with the USA earlier this week and has since had to face the long journey back from Ohio to Europe, and with little opportunity to recover and/or train in between, he is unlikely to start against Bologna.

These absences could lead to a Milan debut for Adrien Rabiot in midfield, which in turn, could see Ruben Loftus-Cheek pushed up from the midfield three and into a more attacking role supporting Santiago Gimenez up top.
There could potentially be another Rossoneri debutant in Koni De Winter, who is challenging Strahinja Pavlovic for a starting spot in the back three.
Bologna, meanwhile, are without a handful of first-team players through injury, including Emil Holm, Nicolo Casale and Ciro Immobile.

Vincenzo Italiano is not expected to make too many changes following his side’s 1-0 win over Como last time out, though. The likes of Jhon Lucumi, Remo Freuler and Jens Odgaard could potentially be brought back into the starting XI, though.
Kick-off is scheduled for 19.45 BST.
