Roma vs Lille: Sporting Director Massara provides update on Dybala recovery & contract situation

The Argentina international has been sidelined with a hamstring injury but could make his return in the coming days. Massara, however, made it clear that no talks have begun regarding Dybala’s expiring contract.

The Giallorossi are managing several key decisions off the pitch while also trying to remain competitive on it, with Dybala’s availability an important factor in the short term. His long-term future, however, remains to be decided.

However, the Argentine is a key part of the Roma squad and if he can keep his fitness, there appears no reason why the club would not choose to extend his current deal.

Meanwhile, Gian Piero Gasperini’s side are preparing to take on a strong Lille side and you can follow all the action live, as it happens, in our LiveBlog.
