It was a busy final day of the transfer window in both Italy and England, with several players linked with moves to Serie A this summer completing deadline day moves. The pick of the bunch is Jadon Sancho, with the Manchester United winger linked to Italian clubs, in Roma and Juventus, for a majority of the summer before completing a deadline day loan move to Aston Villa.

Arsenal defender Oleksandr Zinchenko also completed a deadline day move to fellow Premier League side Nottingham Forest, despite being linked with a move to Milan earlier in the summer before the Rossoneri signed Pervis Estupiñán as their chosen player to replace Theo Hernandez.

Sancho and Kolo Muani sagas end in disappointment for Roma and Juventus

Randal Kolo Muani looked as though he would be returning to Juventus this summer, after a successful loan spell from PSG in the second half of last season. The Bianconeri tried to convince the Ligue 1 side to lower their demands for the player and even tried to re-sign the forward on loan but PSG grew impatient with Juventus’ negotiations.

Instead, the former Eintracht Frankfurt forward completed a move to join Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur on a season-long loan and joins the likes of Mohammed Kudus, Xavi Simons and Joao Palhinha as new players in North London this summer.
