RollsPack launches new manufacturing facility in Huai’an, China

RollsPack has launched Rolls Technology, a new manufacturing facility situated in Huai’an, China, aimed at expanding the company’s footprint in global markets.

This strategic move is set to provide sustainable packaging solutions to various sectors, including food and e-commerce.

Spanning 53ha, the new Rolls Technology site features an 18,400m² production plant equipped with advanced clean-room environments and machinery such as BOBST-branded presses and laminators.

The facility aims to set a new standard in hygiene and quality, meeting the highest global standards.

RollsPack’s investment in Rolls Technology is expected to offer clients improved quality control, faster lead times, and a level of product consistency that is essential in competitive markets.

The company noted that the collaboration between Australian and Chinese teams at Rolls Technology demonstrates a cross-border effort to merge expertise and innovation.

Environmental sustainability was a key focus during the development of Rolls Technology. The facility is designed to minimise emissions and incorporate sustainable manufacturing practices, aligning with RollsPack’s goal to build an environmentally friendly future in flexible packaging.

Rolls Technology is positioned to serve customers not only in China but also in Australia, New Zealand, and other international markets.

The facility is expected to provide reliability in supply chains, even amidst market volatility.
