PSG star Randal Kolo Muani set for Premier League move – as the France international agrees a season-long loan

PSG forward Randal Kolo Muani has agreed to join Tottenham in a season-long loan deal.

The France international has been linked with a move throughout the summer, with a number of Premier League sides reported to have been interested in him.

After a difficult first maiden campaign in the French capital following his arrival in 2023, Kolo Muani spent the latter half of last season on loan at Juventus.

During his time in Turin the 26-year-old netted eight Serie A goals from 16 appearances.

The deal will include neither an option or obligation for Spurs to purchase the forward at the end of the loan, and official confirmation is expected imminently.

Kolo Muani’s arrival marks the fourth new arrival at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this summer, following Mohammed Kudus, Joao Palhinha and Xavi Simons.

The addition of some extra firepower going forward will be a welcome one for Thomas Frank, particularly after Dominic Solanke missed the club’s defeat by Bournemouth on Saturday.

The former Cherries striker has had an injection to deal with an ankle problem but it remains to be seen if he will be fit to return after the international break.

Meanwhile Spurs have also sanctioned a deadline day exit for winger Bryan Gil, who is joining Girona.

Gil joined the club in the summer of 2021 from Sevilla as part of a part-exchange deal involving Erik Lamela.

However injuries limited the Spaniard’s involvement and he has returned to LaLiga on loan on three separate occasions.

The 24-year-old spent last season on loan at the City Football Group club and will now return to the Spanish top flight permanently in a deal understood to be worth £8.6million.
