Premier League clubs Nottingham Forest and Fulham have reportedly joined the race to sign Inter forward Mehdi Taremi.

According to what has been reported by SkySport, the English clubs join Turkish Super Lig side Besiktas amongst the clubs who are interested in signing the Iranian striker.

Inter are keen on offloading Taremi, after a disappointing 2024-25 campaign which saw the attacker score just three goals in 43 games in all competitions.

In his first season with the Nerazzurri, the 32-year-old scored just one goal in 26 Serie A games – albeit registering 3 assists – across 805 minutes of football. The forward scored one goal in the Champions League and assisted four in the competition.

In all, a disappointing season in Italy for Taremi has led the club to consider his sale – despite two years remaining on his contract. The Iranian is not present with Inter in their Club World Cup squads due to a situation in his home country.
