Paradise Gardens to host Mother’s Day Tea May 12

Paradise Gardens in Pauma Valley will host its first annual Mother’s Day – ‘Tea in the Garden’ Sunday, May 12, noon – 4 p.m.

Michelle Gregory and Giuliana Dalsgaard are two mothers who want to bring a heartwarming event to the community. They told The Roadrunner, “Our belief is that time together is priceless. So, here at Paradise Gardens, we are hosting this luncheon fundraiser in honor of our mothers, Mother Earth, and our Mother Oceans. We invite you to bring your mothers, family, and friends to this special day. We recommend you make your reservation early, as there are limited tickets available.”

The fundraiser will benefit OceanYouthAcademy.org, a 501c3 non-profit dedicated to ocean youth educational programs. Fifteen percent of all net proceeds will be donated to OYA for their continued success.

Entertainment will include live acoustic music and a roving magician. There will be a Fine China Luncheon, raffle giveaways, interactive arts and crafts, Kiddy Corner Play area (so moms can enjoy the event), professional photography for mothers and families, a fine art display and gift bags for all mothers. Guest speaker will be Amanda Hunter, founder/president, Ocean Youth Academy.

In the foothills of Palomar Mountain, Paradise Gardens offers a perfect escape into nature. It supports sustainability, organic farming and eco-friendly living. Inspire yourself in the vibrant beauty of San Diego’s spring flower bloom, surrounded by a variety of organic fruit trees, palms, and oak trees.

Dalsgaard and Gregory are accepting sponsorships of all levels of the event. They told The Roadrunner, “Your support will help us make this event the best it can be. Many thanks to Valley Center Wireless, Sandoval Roofing, FST Sand & Gravel, USA Land Loans, Barbara Hubba Real Estate, Redmond Diamond Collections, Pala Reservation and Gregory Palm Farms. Please add Pala Reservation.”
