The holiday season is always a whirlwind of sugar, spice, and everything nice here at Baking Maniac, but this November and December has been next-level. If you’ve been following our journey since November, you’ll know that we’ve been in full Christmas mode, the day after Halloween—baking non-stop to spread holiday cheer one treat at a time.
From custom cakes to festive delights, the kitchen has been buzzing with the sweet, cinnamon-scented aroma of Christmas baking since before Thanksgiving. But as we hit December, things kicked into overdrive. It’s been our craziest month yet, with non-stop orders, our first pop-up, and custom corporate projects, all while ensuring that every single piece of baked goodness that leaves our kitchen is nothing short of perfect, maintaining our quality and standards.
Here’s a look at what’s been happening behind the scenes:
40,000 Pretzels for Pacific Place
Yes, you read that right. A whopping 40,000 peppermint and strawberry pretzels were coated in chocolate, and sprinkled with strawberries and peppermint candy for Pacific Place’s Christma’s Ville! Packed into 3,000 glass jars for Santa to gift after the photo session.
23,000 Gingerbread Cookies for K11 Artus
K11 Artus wanted something special this year, and we delivered! We whipped up an impressive 23,000 handcut gingerbread cookies, each one meticulously decorated to create an edible winter wonderland. The smell of gingerbread spices filled our kitchen for weeks as we decorated each cookie by hand—an absolute labor of love! These mini gingerbread men were packed into 560 glass jars, ribboned with our festive red ribbon and custom branded K11 x Baking Maniac tags.
200 Cookie Decorating Kits for Blackstone
One of our favorite projects this month was the 200 cookie decorating kits for Blackstone. We prepared 1000 royal icing piping bags, 1600 sprinkle packs and 2400 handcut Christmas sugar cookies. These kits included everything needed to create beautifully decorated cookies, from the freshest royal icing to sprinkles. It’s always so rewarding to know that our cookies are bringing families and colleagues together to get creative and spread joy during the holidays.
800 Custom Gingerbread Cookies for MCM
When luxury meets gingerbread, you get MCM‘s holiday gift cookies. We baked 800 custom gingerbread cookies, each intricately designed to match MCM’s sleek, stylish holiday branding. These cookies are almost too pretty to eat—almost! We followed their rocket and tree designs and converted them onto gingerbread cookies. They were also shipped to Singapore for MCM stores in Singapore and Hong Kong.
1400 Gingerbread Cookies for AIA & 600 for JP Morgan
Corporate orders have also been a huge part of our December madness. We baked and piped 1400 gingerbread cookies for AIA and 600 for JP Morgan. These were not just any gingerbread cookies. It’s always an honor to be trusted with such important orders!
Dessert table for Lidl & Kaufland
One of our favourite projects this season was preparing over 800 handmade Christmas desserts for a corporate Christmas party. We got to decorate the table with festive decorations as well as be present in the party, serving guests with our delicious desserts. It was so satisfying to see our desserts run out so fast.
Festive Branded Cookies for Casetify & Amazon
We love creativity during the festive season. We created custom design festive themed cookies for Casetify and Amazon. Along with a very unique bitcoin cookie dressed with a royal iced santa hat.
First Pop-Up at City Super, Harbour City
As if that wasn’t enough, this December we also launched our first-ever pop-up at City Super Harbour City! It’s been a completely different experience for us running a retail outlet , having been an online shop for the past 16 years. It’s been an incredible experience to meet so many of you in person, watch your faces light up as you get our festive treats, and share our love for baking. The pop-up has been a huge success, and we’re already planning more in the future!
In total, our hardworking team whipped up over 40,000 handmade gingerbread cookies in December alone! Each cookie was baked with love, decorated with precision, and delivered with joy.
This December wasn’t just about baking; it was also about bringing people together through creativity and festive fun.
Cookie Decorating Workshop at ESF: We had a blast hosting this workshop for ESF at their corporate office in Quarry Bay for ESF’s staff and kids, spreading Christmas cheer with sprinkles, icing, and creativity galore.
Cookie Decorating Workshop at Pacific Place Above Lounge: An exclusive treat for VIP members to design their own festive cookies in the luxurious setting of Pacific Place Above lounge. Truly a fun 2 day workshop.
K11 Snowglobe Workshop: We brought winter wonderland to life with our snowglobe decorating workshop, making it a memorable experience for all in house residents and guests.
