The Henderson in Hong Kong is presenting a range of event-friendly spaces and dining concepts.
Crowning the 39-storey tower is Hong Kong’s “highest rooftop ballroom”, Cloud39. The glass-clad venue opened earlier this year, boasting 632 sqm of indoor ballroom space, a 186 sqm foyer, and a 91 sqm outdoor terrace.
It seats 336 banquet guests, 450 guests in cocktail configuration, or 400 theatre-style.
Summit 38 on the 38th floor will unveil event spaces and two dining concepts, Peridot and Hana no Kuma.
Peridot will offer terroir-driven cocktails and plant-based haute cuisine together with live entertainment. Its design features glowing glass accents, sculptural marble surfaces and a signature light green palette.

Hana no Kumo celebrates the artistry of Japanese Kappou cuisine under executive chef Ogawa Masaru. It features Kyoto-inspired interiors, with a ceiling adorned with delicate petal motifs and dynamic colour-shifting lighting, reflecting a flower’s bloom. Diners can also choose from a selection of sake ranging from Japan’s finest regional brews to award-winning vintages.
Peridot and Hana no Kumo will debut in October 2025, while the event spaces at Summit 38 are accepting reservation enquiries from late 2025.
The 43,200 sqm tower also unveiled Akira Back at The Henderson, the celebrity chef’s first Hong Kong venture. The restaurant, which has a private dining room, debuts this month on the building’s 5th floor and offers a menu combining Japanese-Korean cuisine with an American twist.
