Napoli are still pushing Liverpool for Darwin Nunez and had recent contact for the striker, Football Italia can exclusively reveal, but other candidates include Lorenzo Lucca and Rasmus Hojlund.
The Partenopei are busy reinforcing the squad for coach Antonio Conte, who was convinced to stay after winning the Serie A title by the promise of new signings.

Those include forwards to make them less reliant on Romelu Lukaku, with Nunez remaining a strong option.
Nunez still on the Napoli wish list

The Uruguay international will certainly not be cheap, as Liverpool paid €85m to bring him to England from Benfica in the summer of 2022.
His contract at Anfield Road runs to June 2028, but seven goals and seven assists from 47 competitive appearances for Liverpool this season are not what that kind of price-tag would warrant.
Al-Hilal have also approached Liverpool for Nunez, but Napoli are still in the hunt and can promise him Champions League football and to continue at the top level in Europe.
Other options for Napoli would include Udinese striker Lorenzo Lucca and Manchester United’s Rasmus Hojlund, although Inter seem to have the advantage there.
