Napoli stand strong on Juanlu and Musah valuation

Juanlu Sanchez and Yunus Musah remain on Napoli’s list of transfer targets, but they are not prepared to meet Sevilla and Milan asking prices.

The Partenopei have secured two new signings already this summer, free agent Kevin De Bruyne and Empoli defender Luca Marianucci.

They are ready to strengthen the squad for coach Antonio Conte, but as always, Napoli are tough negotiators who will not go beyond their self-imposed limits.

Napoli will not be pushed on transfers

Juanlu Sanchez turns 22 in August and is currently playing for Spain at the Under-21 European Championship.

The versatile right-sided winger is locked down by a lengthy contract that runs to June 2029, having impressed with five goals and five assists in 35 competitive games for Sevilla this season.

Napoli know that Juanlu Sanchez is eager to join them, so feel it unnecessary to reach the €18m plus bonuses requested by the club.

They have a similar scenario with Musah, as negotiations had seemed to be at an advanced stage when Milan turned down the €23m plus bonuses proposal.

Here too, Napoli feel their offer is more than fair, and crucially are in absolutely no rush to get a deal done quickly.
