- Moto G57 and Moto G57 Power budget phones announced
- Both use new Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 chip
- Moto G (2026) and Moto G Play (2026) announced in US
Motorola has announced the Moto G57 and Moto G57 Power – two budget phones with some stand-out specifications.
It should surprise no-one that the Motorola Moto G57 is a direct follow-up to the Moto G56, which we described as “a solid, stylish budget buy” in our review.
This successor looks to be following a similar formula.

Motorola
Both phones are among the first to use Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 chip, which is accompanied by up to 24GB of RAM. That’s an astonishing amount of memory for a budget phone.
This power plant is stashed away inside a pair of MIL-STD-810H and IP64-rated bodies. There’s toughened Gorilla Glass 7i around front, too.
There’s a 6.72-inch FHD+ 120Hz LCD display on the front of both phones, which is the same as the Moto G56.
The camera provision is the same too, led by the same 50Mp Sony Lytia 600 main camera sensor as the Moto G56. There’s also an 8Mp ultra-wide and an 8Mp front-facing camera.
The main difference relates to the battery. In the Moto G57, that’s a 5,200mAh battery – again, just like the Moto G56. In the Moto G57 Power, however, you’re getting a whopping 7,000mAh cell.
Motorola is understandably promising “over two days on a single charge” from the latter. Power indeed.

Motorola
Both enjoy 30W wired charging, which isn’t outstanding – especially for the Power and its huge battery – but it’s worth remembering that these are budget phones.
UK availability for the Moto G57 is unknown at this point, which is slightly odd – as are the lack of press images for the G57. However, we do know that the Moto G57 Power is available to purchase from today (5 November) for £229.99.
Moto G (2026) and Moto G Play (2026)
Over in the US, our American cousins also have a pair of new budget Moto options to enjoy, although they’re slightly different. The Moto G (2026) comes with Dimensity 6300 power, a 32Mp selfie cam, a dedicated macro camera, and a lesser IP52 rating.
The and Moto G Play (2026) gives you a 32Mp main camera and an 8Mp selfie cam, as well as 18W charging. As this suggests, it’s an even cheaper phone.
The Moto G (2026) goes on sale in the US on 11 December for $199.99, while the Moto G Play (2026) got son sale on 13 November and will set you back $169.99.
