The annual Hong Kong Wine and Dine Festival in late October will see the return of a designated area for premium wine and a pop-up restaurant with Michelin-star chefs for the first time in seven years.
This year’s event, organised by the Hong Kong Tourism Board, will also be extended by an hour to midnight for the first time.
“We have made the unprecedented move of extending the event hours, enabling visitors to have more fun,” board chairman Peter Lam Kin-ngok said on Monday.
The festival will be held from October 23 to 26 at the Central Harbourfront, opening at 7.30pm on the first day and noon on the following days.
Key highlights for the event include the Grand Wine Pavilion, a designated area for premium wine, and the Tasting Room, a pop-up restaurant featuring five renowned chefs. Such arrangements at the event were last seen in 2018.

The premium wine pavilion was the result of a government delegation visit to Bordeaux, France, in July, when industry leaders in the region agreed to attend this year’s festival, Lam said.
