A Delhi court has directed the filing of an FIR in a custodial death case based on a complaint by the deceased’s wife. Chief Judicial Magistrate Vasundhra Chhaunkar heard the plea of Setara Bibi, who alleged that her husband, Sheikh Shadat, died while in the custody of Subhash Place Police Station officials on July 22-23, 2023, PTI reported.
