Maryland resident Pat Sajak will take his final spin on Celebrity Wheel of Fortune. Although he retired from hosting the regular version of Wheel of Fortune in June 2024 after more than four decades, Sajak returned briefly to host the fifth season of the celebrity spinoff. His final episode airs June 10 on ABC.

The Season 5 finale, titled “Pat’s Final Spin,” will feature Broadway and screen stars Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Renée Elise Goldsberry, and Bernadette Peters as the final trio of celebrity contestants. The episode airs at 8 p.m. on ABC and will be available to stream the next day on Hulu.

Sajak and his wife, Lesly Brown-Sajak, are longtime residents of Severna Park, Maryland. Over his career, Sajak received 19 Daytime Emmy nominations and won three times for Outstanding Game Show Host. He has also been a devoted Washington Capitals fan and season-ticket holder, even appearing on the ice during the 2018 Stanley Cup Finals.

Originally created by Merv Griffin in 1975, Wheel of Fortune has aired in syndication since 1983. Following Sajak’s retirement, Ryan Seacrest now hosts the main show alongside Vanna White and announcer Jim Thornton. ABC has confirmed that Seacrest will also take over Celebrity Wheel of Fortune when it returns for its sixth season.
