Manchester United are keeping a keen eye on this Real Madrid ace

In a recent report, Fichajes stated that Manchester United are keeping a keen eye on Real Madrid midfielder Eduardo Camavinga. It has been stated that the Red Devils are eager to get a deal done for the French talent next year.

Camavinga’s Impressive Form In La Liga

Camavinga has caught the eye at times for the Madrid giants in this campaign as he has put in a few impressive displays for them at the centre of the park. The France international has played in eight matches for Los Blancos this season, scoring one goal in the process across all fronts.

The 22-year-old has anchored the midfield with conviction and deserves credit for making 11 tackles, six blocks, one interception and two clearances in La Liga. He has even been accurate when distributing possession from midfield based on his pass completion rate of 90% in the top tier of Spanish football (stats via fbref.com).

His current contract at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium will run out in the summer of 2029. Thus, the Red Devils would have to launch a big offer if they want to recruit him next year.

Will Camavinga Be A Dream Option For Manchester United Boss Ruben Amorim?

Camavinga is a solid tackler of the ball and can read the danger well to secure possession back for his team inside his half. He usually puts his foot through the ball when needed and is a tidy passer of the ball as well.

The French sensation is primarily a box-to-box midfielder but can also function as a defensive midfielder or as a left-back if asked to do so. However, there are some concerns over whether he can cope with the physicality and high intensity of the Premier League.

Camavinga would add more bite and steel to Man United boss Ruben Amorim’s midfield. He is more than capable of earning a regular starting spot at Old Trafford. Furthermore, the France international would be an ideal replacement for Casemiro at the Mancunian club in the long run.

At 22, Camavinga has got a bright future ahead of him, which makes him a dream option for the Red Devils to pursue this January or at the end of this campaign.
