A man has been arrested following the death of a teenage girl in a suspected drugs-related incident.

The 15-year-old girl collapsed at a bus stop in Allerton Bywater after taking what initial tests suggest was MDMA on 6 June and died in hospital six days later.

A 29-year-old man was arrested in the early hours of Saturday morning on suspicion of manslaughter and supplying a Class A drug and remains in custody.

A West Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “There is no suggestion of any wider risks arising from this incident, other than the inherent dangers of all illegal drugs.”

Police were called to hospital at 18:59 BST on 6 June after staff reported concerns about the girl who was brought in by ambulance after collapsing on Leeds Road.

She remained in a critical condition and died on 12 June.

A force spokesperson said officers were supporting the girl’s family and asked that “people show consideration and respect at what is clearly a very difficult time”.

The past year for Harley-Davidson (NYSE:HOG) investors has not been profitable

It’s easy to match the overall market return by buying an index fund. When you buy individual stocks, you can make higher profits, but you also face the risk of under-performance. For example, the Harley-Davidson, Inc. (NYSE:HOG) share price is down 26% in the last year. That’s disappointing when you consider the market returned 12%.
