SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — A man has been arrested following multiple residential burglaries in southeast Springfield.
According to a Springfield Police Department (SPD) press release, Cory Mincks, 34, has been charged with second-degree burglary and two counts of stealing.

Mincks was identified as a suspect after SPD’s Property Crimes Unit began an investigation into the thefts, which started in September. The most recent thefts were reported in October, the release says.
Victims of the crimes reported thefts of vehicles, sheds and surrounding property.

Law enforcement reported on Tuesday, Oct. 14, that they found some of the stolen property from the previous reports at Minck’s residence.
SPD says that additional charges will be submitted to the Greene County Prosecutor’s Office after the investigation is completed.
This incident is an ongoing investigation, and police ask that anyone who believes they have been a victim who has not filed a report to contact the department at 417-864-1810.
Mincks is in the Greene County Jail with a $25,000 bond.
