When in doubt, add more Chanel.

Lauren Sánchez-Bezos was dripping in the label’s accessories Wednesday night at Chanel’s Sofia Coppola book launch party at New York Fashion Week.

The 55-year-old paired a simple white tank with a sheer black maxi skirt with polka dot panels for the dinner at Doubles Club on the Upper East Side.

Around her waist, she wore layers of the French house’s signature gilded chain belts adorned with gleaming gold medallions.

Dark Chanel sunglasses, gold drop earrings, and a black clutch rounded out the low-key-luxe ensemble.

She wore her chestnut-brown hair in long, loose waves.

It’s hardly Sánchez-Bezos’s first Chanel moment. In 2023, she rang in her birthday in St. Barts wearing a $4,450 cropped Chanel Formula 1 T-shirt and tweed shorts for a stroll with then-fiancé Jeff Bezos.

At last summer’s Sun Valley Conference — dubbed “summer camp for billionaires” — she dressed the part in a Chanel cashmere quilted skirt and cardigan. The former journalist dressed that look down, too, accessorizing the four-figure duds with a pair of white sneakers.

And in March, she joined Kim Kardashian at Chanel’s pre-Oscars dinner at the Beverly Hills Hotel, cementing her status on the brand’s VIP list.

Peekaboo sheer pieces are also a wardrobe staple for the billionaire. Just this July, she grabbed headlines in Saint-Tropez in a see-through black animal-print gown — worn sans bra.

Her NYFW outing marked her first big fashion week appearance since marrying Bezos, 61, in Venice this June. The three-day celebration drew a crowd of A-listers and saw the bride wear an array of designer looks, from opulent Dolce & Gabbana lace to slinky after-party ensembles

In New York, though, the look was all about balance. By grounding her outfit with basics and letting the Chanel hardware do the talking, Sánchez-Bezos gave her accessories top billing — and showed she knows how to make even a plain white tank look fashion-party-ready.
