Lauren Sánchez Bezos is still in her bridal era!
The Emmy-winning journalist, who tied the knot with Jeff Bezos in a star-studded destination wedding in June, was one of the many famous faces to step out in New York on Thursday, Sept. 11, for the fourth annual Caring for Women Dinner presented by the Kering Foundation.
Each year, the annual event raises funds to benefit organizations focused on “addressing gender-based violence and supporting survivors and their families in gaining financial empowerment and independence,” according to a press release.

Held at The Pool in Manhattan, the dinner this year is co-hosted by Salma Hayek Pinault and François-Henri Pinault, Colman Domingo, Demi Moore, Jessica Chastain, Julianne Moore, and Madonna.
To mark the night, Sánchez donned a cream Schiaparelli mermaid gown with a form-fitting corseted top and a black back panel with a small train.
The children’s book author complemented her look with Jimmy Choo shoes and silver Samer Halimeh jewelry, including a statement necklace with matching earrings.
To add an extra touch of elegance, Sánchez wore her hair in loose waves, paired with natural makeup.

The look was a contrast to the dark blue, off-the-shoulder dress that Sánchez wore to the event a year prior, which featured lace detailing.
Last year Sánchez let the gown, which also had a train, do all the talking as she wore her hair up in a chic updo, accessorized only with crystal earrings.
While Bezos didn’t walk the red carpet that night, he posed with Sánchez inside the event while wearing a dark blue suit.

Bezos and Sánchez said “I do” on the island of San Giorgio Maggiore in Venice, Italy, on Friday, June 27.
The black-tie event was attended by many of the couple’s celebrity friends, including Oprah Winfrey, Gayle King, Orlando Bloom, Kim Kardashian, Khloé Kardashian, Kris Jenner, Kylie Jenner, Karlie Kloss, Leonardo DiCaprio, Usher, and Tom Brady.

Sánchez’s corseted, mermaid-style wedding dress was custom-made by Dolce & Gabbana and featured hand-appliquéd Italian lace, per Vogue. She paired the bridal look with Dolce earrings and had a secret souvenir from her Blue Origin space flight as her “something blue.”
