The Ladies European Tour (LET) has announced that Alexandra Armas will step down as Chief Executive Officer in October, bringing to a close a transformative five-year tenure at the helm of women’s professional golf in Europe.
Since assuming her role in 2020, Armas has overseen a period of rapid growth and development for the LET. Under her leadership, prize funds have more than doubled, the tournament schedule has expanded significantly, and global engagement with the Tour has reached new heights.
Armas played a key role in forging the LET’s joint venture with the LPGA Tour – a landmark partnership that has helped unify women’s golf on a global stage and created greater playing and commercial opportunities for athletes.
“It has been an honour to serve as CEO of the Ladies European Tour,” Armas, who will step down on October 1, 2025, said. “I’m incredibly proud of what we’ve achieved together – from expanding the schedule and prize funds to building a stronger, more sustainable future through international collaboration.”
Liz Moore, Chair of the LPGA-LET Joint Venture Board, hailed Armas as “a transformative force for the LET and for women’s golf globally,” while LET Chair Marta Figueras Dotti praised her “extraordinary” dedication and long-standing service to the Tour.
The LET has engaged a search firm to identify Armas’ successor, with further details on the process expected in the coming weeks.
