Joanne Josephine Rhodes (姚祖恩) is an alumna of Maryknoll Convent School in Kowloon Tong, Kowloon, Hong Kong, China and the University of Hong Kong in Pok Fu Lam, Hong Kong. She attended the Gemological Institute of America in Carlsbad, California, United States in 2020 and entered the University College London in London, England, United Kingdom in 2022.

On September 26, 2024, Rhodes competed against 15 other Miss Universe Hong Kong 2024 candidates at AXA Dreamland in New Territories, Hong Kong and won the title. On September 20, 2025, she crowned her successor.
