Cooper and Garner met in Nobu, one of the most popular celebrity spots in Malibu. The group was seen leaving the restaurant, with Cooper and Garner laughing together and being flanked by their kids.

Garner wore white pants with a matching button-up, rounding it all off with some dark sunglasses and her hair held up by a ponytail. Cooper wore black shorts and a cream colored sweater promoting his cheesesteak restaurant in New York City, called “Danny & Coop’s.

A closer look at Cooper and Garner’s relationship

Cooper and Garner first met on the set of “Alias,” where Garner played the lead role of the spy Sydney Bristow and Cooper played a journalist and one of her best friends, a role that he’s discussed as frustrating in the past due to his diminished appearances as the show expanded across different seasons.

In 2019, Cooper was awarded at the Cinematheque Awards, with Garner introducing him to the public and discussing their long friendship. “My mental image of Bradley Cooper is of an apple-drooling frosted-haired boy wonder,” she said. “It wasn’t until I heard him speaking French to a background artist on set one day that I was like, ‘Wait a minute. Is Bradley handsome?’”

“I know the heart and stomach of Bradley Cooper,” she said. “Bradley, what’s happening to you now is a pure joy to those who know you, especially to those of us who’ve known you from the start. It turns out you weren’t just handsome all along. You were also a wonder, and you are welcome at my table anytime.”
