Inter to reignite Marco Carnesecchi interest if Sommer leaves

Inter Milan will reportedly reignite their interest in Atalanta keeper Marco Carnesecchi in the event that Yann Sommer leaves.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, via FCInterNews.

Inter Milan are considering the possibility that they could lose goalkeeper Yann Sommer this summer.

Reportedly, the 36-year-old is on the radar of Galatasaray. Hakan Calhanoglu is not the only experienced Inter player who the Turkish champions are hoping to sign.

Meanwhile, reports Tuttosport, clubs in the Premier League and Saudi Pro League are also keeping tabs on Sommer.

According to Tuttosport, Inter Milan would have a replacement in mind if Sommer is to depart.

The newspaper anticipate that the Nerazzurri would resume their efforts to sign Atalanta goalkeeper Marco Carnesecchi.

Carnesecchi has enjoyed several outstanding seasons with La Dea. Last campaign was arguably his most impressive in Bergamo.

Therefore, reports Tuttosport, Inter would see the 25-year-old as a viable replacement for Sommer.

Meanwhile, the Turin-based newspaper notes, Inter are also paying attention to the situation of Gianluigi Donnarumma at Paris Saint-Germain.

The Nerazzurri won’t sign the Italian international this summer. However, if he leaves PSG on a free transfer next summer, they would very much consider a move.
