Indie App Spotlight: ‘Queue’ makes it easier to keep in touch with everyone in your life

Welcome to Indie App Spotlight. This is a weekly 9to5Mac series where we showcase the latest apps in the indie app world. If you’re a developer and would like your app featured, get in contact.

Keeping up with all of the people in your life can be hard. Queue is a simple app that helps you be better at that. It’s like a personal CRM, but for all of the people in your life.

Highlights

Life can be busy – and sometimes you can forget to keep up with someone, or multiple people. Queue aims to solve that, by providing the tools you might need.

It starts off with the ability to import people from your iPhone’s contacts, but you can also import people from Google Calendar meetings or Gmail threads. It’ll support LinkedIn connections soon, too. Then, Queue will intuitively remind you to keep up with those people. You can customize those reminders as well.

On top of that, Queue will keep track of how long its been since you’ve kept up with someone – which’ll help prevent you from letting a conversation slip until the point where it’d be too awkward to follow up.

Last but not least, Queue lets you take notes on your interactions with people to refer to later. Personally, I think this feature is a bit much and I’d rather just remember the things that someone is telling me – but it’s there for those who might have poorer memory or are just incredibly busy. Or, if there’s extremely long periods between follow ups, maybe it’d come in handy there too.

In short, Queue might be best to keep up with people that might not necessarily be core to your life, but are still valuable. It prevents those connections from fading.

Download the app

Queue is available on the App Store with a one week free trial, and has a $4.99/month subscription afterwards. It’s available on iPhones running iOS 17.6 and later.
