Hong Kong Airport issues tender for travel accessories/smart gadget units

Airport Authority Hong Kong (AAHK) is inviting submissions from qualified retail operators to run a travel accessories and smart gadgets concession at Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA).

Two licences (A, B) are available within the tender to run shopping spaces totalling approximately 1,217sq ft at Terminal 1.

The units are situated in the restricted area of Level 6, Departures North Concourse (388sq ft); Level 5, Departures, Satellite Concourse (517sq ft); and Level 6, Departures West Hall (312sq ft).

The closing date of the tender is 15 September at 16:00 (local time).

Potential tenderers must hold a valid registered account as ‘Retailer/F&B Operator’ and pay a non-refundable fee of HK$5,000/$636.9 to access the documents.

In a related announcement, HKIA is also presenting a business opportunity for qualified parties to operate an artisan food/lifestyle retail concession at Terminal 1.

Two units spanning a total of 495sq ft are available under two licences (A, B), with the closing date for bids on 12 September at 16:00 (local time).
