Hong Kong Airport invites bids for travel accessories and smart gadgets concession in Terminal 1 : Moodie Davitt Report

HONG KONG, CHINA. Airport Authority Hong Kong (AAHK) has issued a tender for a travel accessories and smart gadgets concession in Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) Terminal 1.

The concession covers three units across the terminal, including a 36sq m store at the Departures North Concourse and a 29sq m location at the Departures West Hall, both situated on Level 6, as well as a 48sq m space at the Satellite Concourse on Level 5.

The tender presents a fresh retail opportunity to tap into the growing on-the-go lifestyle market

The deadline for submissions is 15 September, 4pm (Hong Kong time).

Announcing the tender, AAHK said: “HKIA is a world-class international transport hub with extensive air, sea and land links as well as round-the-clock facilities. Through offering premium food and services, the authority strives to provide the best airport experience for our passengers.”

The tender documents are available for download at AAHK’s electronic tendering system – ePROS website.

Potential bidders must hold a valid registered account as ‘Retailer/F&B Operator’ and pay a non-refundable fee of HK$5,000 (US$637) to access the documents.
