A Milestone for Hong Kong and Australian Connections

Sydney to Hong Kong routes remain one of Sydney Airport’s busiest, with more than 850,00 passengers flying between cities in 2024. Sydney Airport’s CEO hopes this partnership will reflect the strength of their longstanding cultural and economic ties with Hong Kong. Though Hong Kong Airlines is a younger brand in the mature Australian market they are proving themselves as a passenger-centric service, providing attentive in-flight service and fine dining for long-haul customers. This new route will allow stronger connections for students, tourists, and business professionals. The Inaugural flight touched down the morning of June 21st and was welcomed with water canon salutes and a ceremony.
