Here are the biggest celebrities spotted Saturday in San Diego – San Diego Union-Tribune

The stars were shining bright on Saturday at Comic-Con.

San Diego was the scene of an all-star lineup of actors appearing at the convention center to discuss the latest in TV and films.

Here were some of the sightings.

On the heels of that jaw-dropping role in the latest season of “White Lotus,” Sam Rockwell joined his “The Bad Guys 2” castmates on stage in Hall H. The film from DreamWorks Animation hits theaters next weekend.

Comedian Craig Robinson, who has performed in San Diego venues such as American Comedy Co. and Belly Up, voices Mr. Shark in the upcoming “The Bad Guys 2.” His voice acting work also includes “Big Mouth” and “American Dad!”

The wrestler and actor known for huge films is now taking to television: “Peacemaker,” produced, written and directed by James Gunn, is back for another season. Cena plays Christopher Smith in the HBO series, which was discussed on a panel in Hall H.

Awkwafina

Nora Lum, who goes by stage name Awkwafina, follows her voice acting success in “Raya and the Last Dragon” and “Kung Fu Panda” by joining “The Bad Guys 2.” She was seen in Hall H on Saturday on a panel with her castmates.

The hilarious red head from “Orange is the New Black,” “Poker Face,” and “Russian Doll,” is the voice of Doom in “The Bad Guys 2.” She appeared at Comic-Con with her star-studded castmates.

He’s not just Ken, he’s also Ryland Grace in the upcoming “Project Hail Mary.” The film is about a last-ditch effort to save planet Earth. Ryan Gosling spoke about the film in Hall H.

Trekkies likely had their best day of the week on Saturday when the “Star Trek Universe” panel hit Hall H. “Star Trek: Strange New Worlds” star Rebecca Romijn was among the actors on hand.


‘Family Guy’ voice actors

Saturday was a big day for animation and Alec Sulkin, Alex Borstein, Seth Green and Jennifer Tilly, posed for a portrait in San Diego. The crew were featured on a panel in Ballroom 20. Tilly, who is the voice of Bonnie on “Family Guy,” has also been seen on “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” as an iconic friend of Sutton Stracke.
