Users can create events, set reminders, and add notes to Keep, as well as access information stored in those apps. Gemini Live, a real-time conversation app developed by Google, has significantly expanded its functionality by integrating with Google Calendar, Tasks, and Keep apps. Users can now create events, set reminders, and add notes to Keep, as well as access information stored in these apps. Additionally, the integration includes access to Google Maps and Samsung devices’ Calendar, Notes, and Reminders. This feature was first announced in May and began rolling out in late June, with widespread availability now confirmed on both Android and iOS devices.

The integration allows users to interact with their Google apps directly within Gemini Live, enhancing the app’s utility and convenience. For instance, users can ask Gemini Live to create a new Calendar event or set a reminder based on information they encounter in real-time conversations. This seamless integration is particularly useful for managing personal schedules and tasks efficiently.

The rollout of this feature has been gradual, with some users experiencing the integration in late June. However, the feature has now been widely available, as indicated by the presence of a circular loading indicator around the app icon when invoked. Users can directly namecheck the four Google apps to access their functionalities or use more general queries to perform tasks like checking reminders.

Google Maps integration enables users to ask for place details directly within Gemini Live, further enhancing the app’s capabilities. On Samsung devices, users can access their Calendar, Notes, and Reminders, making Gemini Live a comprehensive tool for managing various aspects of their digital lives.

This expansion of Gemini Live’s capabilities is part of Google’s ongoing efforts to enhance the user experience of its AI-driven products. The integration with Google and Samsung apps reflects Google’s commitment to providing users with a seamless and efficient way to manage their information and tasks.
