Gavin Newsom Goes Really Low To Mock JD Vance In A Sensitive Area

California Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) brutally taunted JD Vance over a debunked rumor that the vice president humped his couch as a young man.

“POOR JD! HIS SWEET BELOVED COUCH NOW COSTS MORE WITH THE TARIFFS!” Newsom’s press office snarked Tuesday with an AI video of a chubbier Vance hosting a show about couches.

“A design that did not merely support the body, but contained it,” the fake Vance said.

The potential presidential candidate peddling in AI foolery over something that isn’t even true perhaps signaled a shift in the deepfake wars.

Defying former first lady Michelle Obama’s “when they go low, we go high” ethos, Newsom answered low with low.

Before the 2024 election, furniture-tryst truthers claimed that in Vance’s memoir “Hillbilly Elegy,” he recounted simulating coitus with a rubber glove sandwiched between couch cushions.

The assertion gained so much momentum that The Associated Press actually published a fact check titled, “No, JD Vance did not have sex with a couch.”

Newsom’s wild post came a day after Trump shared an AI goof of Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) saying, “Look, guys, there’s no way to sugarcoat it. Nobody likes Democrats anymore. We have no voters left because of all of our woke, trans bullshit. Not even Black people want to vote for us anymore. Even Latinos hate us.”

The fake Schumer, standing by a faux House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-N.Y.) wearing a sombrero as mariachi music plays, also boasts that “illegal aliens” can’t speak English, “so they won’t realize we’re just a bunch of woke pieces of shit, you know?”

If this was a return volley for Trump’s bigoted deepfake, it hit its target. The post had more than 2.5 million views by early Wednesday.

As for Trump’s tariffs, they’re no laughing matter.

The president’s levies are devastating farmers, and now he’s planning to impose a 100% tariff on movies made outside the United States.

“You’re already paying more for eggs, coffee, toys, shoes, electricity, furniture, cars, and flights,” Newsom responded on X. “Now, Trump wants to raise taxes to see the movies. PAY MORE AND ENJOY NOTHING. That’s Donald Trump’s America.”
