MBC aired Wonderful World episode 7 on Friday, March 22, 2024. Starring Cha Eun-Woo as Kwon Seon-Yul and Kim Nam-Joo as Eun Soo-Hyun, the K-drama has currently taken an exciting turn filled with big revelations.
In episode 6, Soo-Hyun gets suspicious of Seon-Yul’s real identity. While she tries to connect the dots, viewers learn that Seon-Yul is the son of Kwon Ji-Woong. For context, the latter was the person who killed Soo-Hyun’s toddler son and got away from punishment because of a higher political power. Hence, Nam-Joo’s character killed Ji-Woong to avenge her son’s death.
Episode 7 features Seon-Yul visiting Ji-Woong’s wife at a hospital where she is in a coma. It is revealed that he is their son and plans to seek revenge on Soo-Hyun for his father’s death.
Wonderful World Episode 7 spoilers: Cha Eun-woo’s revenge plan has been in the making for a long time
Wonderful World Episode 7 begins with Cha Eun-Woo’s Seon-Yul asking his mother to wait for justice to prevail. He hints at his revenge plan against Soo-Hyun (Kim Nam-Joo).
Before visiting his mother, he meets Min-Hyuk, the sole survivor of a fire accident. In front of Soo-Hyun, Seon-Yul has introduced himself as Min-Hyuk. So when he finds out the real victim, Seon-Yul helps him to pay off his debt and start a better life.
Furthermore, the latest episode shows the struggle of Seon-Yul after his father’s death. In the past, he had to survive the criticism and threats of being the son of a murderer. His revenge plan has been in the making since the day of Seon-Yul’s final verdict. She had said in court that if she were given another chance, she would make the same choice and would not show mercy to her son’s killer.
As a part of his revenge plan, Seon-Yul tail Soo-Hyun’s family members. He becomes a regular customer at her mother’s restaurant and even lets her know in episode 7. When Soo-Hyun visits Min-Hyuk’s parents’ at a cemetery, she gets a call from Seon-Yul, who asks her to meet at her mother’s restaurant. Her suspicions get stronger at this point.
Later, the storyline takes another interesting turn when he and Soo-Hyun’s husband, Soo-Ho, cross paths. However, Soo-Ho is still unaware of Seon-Yul’s relationship with his wife. He suspects Cha Eun-Woo’s character for sending his inappropriate photo to Soo-Hyun. Aside from her, the two male characters get entangled with each other because of Kim Joon. He is the powerful political personality who helped Seon-Yul’s father in the past in Soo-Hyun’s son’s case.
Wonderful World Episode 7 ending: Kim Nam-Joo finds out Cha Eun-Woo’s real identity
With many twists and turns, Wonderful World Episode 7 is worth a watch. Towards the end, Seon-Yul (Cha Eun-Woo) confesses to his friend that he should get closer to Soo-Hyun to hurt her emotionally.
Kim Nam-Joo’s character asks him to meet her. As he walks towards her, a few flashbacks reveal that Soo-Hyun has discovered Soo-Hyun’s real identity. She narrates, “Now, I know everything. It’s you — Kwon Seon-Yul!” And the episode ends on a dramatic note. However, it is still unclear if he realizes that she knows everything.
Viewers will find out more in the next episode. Wonderful World episode 8 will air on Saturday, March 23, 2024, at 9.50 p.m. KST on MBC. The K-drama also streams on Disney Plus.
