Celebrities in Prada for the 2025 Academy Museum Gala

Prada dressed seven celebrities for the 2025 Academy Museum Gala in Los Angeles on Saturday evening — a night that saw the house balance minimalism with glamour.

Rich In Simplicity

Demi Moore was easily one of the best of the entire night wearing a Prada burgundy satin gown. It’s the colour, the constructed bodice, and the asymmetrical hip with cascading georgette detail for me. It’s refined, sensual, and unapologetically luxurious — the kind of gown that reminds everyone why Demi remains a red carpet icon.

Retro Geometry

Maude Apatow wore a Prada yellow satin gown decorated with black plissé grosgrain trim. The geometric patterns imbued the look with a charming retro feel, equal parts mod and modern. It’s one of those rare Prada moments that strikes a perfect balance between sweetness and structure, all without feeling too precious.

Crease-Free Miracle

I’m shocked — no, stunned — that there isn’t a single crease on Sebastian Stan’s Prada black satin tuxedo. He must have arrived standing in a van, or this is some superior-quality crease-free satin. I love how the white T-shirt modernises the look, and I’ll always adore what a satin cummerbund can do for a tux.

Icy Finish

Damson Idris looked effortlessly cool in a Prada light blue mohair suit, styled with black accessories that gave the pastel tone a more grounded edge, but the trouser did need to be shorter to prevent those breaks. Completing the look with his own DIDRIS jewels, he struck that sleek balance between old-school refinement and contemporary confidence.

Back In Black

Amanda Seyfried’s Prada black organza gown embellished with teardrop crystals, jais, and iridescent black cuvettes was a far superior outing compared to her London Film Festival Richard Quinn look. The craftsmanship here is exceptional with a luminous texture that feels distinctly Prada.

Classic Refinement

Louis Partridge kept it simple and elegant in a Prada black wool tuxedo — clean lines, and perfect tailoring. What more can you ask for?

Sharp Minimalism

Nicholas Duvernay’s served up pared-back perfection in a Prada black mohair tuxedo.
