The Museum of Modern Art rolled out the carpet for The Morning Show Season 4 premiere, and the cast (plus a few notable supporters) gave us plenty to talk about. Some leaned into their signatures, while others tried new directions—with mixed results.

Black, Again (But It Works)
Jennifer Aniston delivered exactly what you expect: black, strapless, and fuss-free. This Rick Owens dress might not be surprising, but I love how the ruching detail enhanced the silhouette, proving why she sticks with what works. Add in her signature “Rachel” haircut and understated jewels, and Jennifer was firmly in her comfort zone.

Risk That Didn’t Pay Off
Karen Pittman took a risk with this SAGIO blush bustier and ivory skirt, which gave the impression of a dress being slipped off—a daring, undressed illusion. Unfortunately, the look loses its charm with the horizontal sequins cut harshly across her chest, creating an unflattering effect. And then there’s the visible areolas.

Effortless Parisian Chic
Marion Cotillard, joining the cast for Season 4, leaned into her Chanel ambassadorship with a striped sequin top and wide-leg trousers. Cool, chic, and unmistakably French—this was effortless glamour without even trying.

Plus-One, Scene-Stealer
Naomi Watts may have been there to support Billy Crudup, but she looked like her name was on the poster. Dressed the Gucci Fall 2025 collection, the embroidered floral polo and skirt felt playful yet polished, especially with the Bamboo Night bag and sandals. The fiery orange-red lip sealed the deal—this was leading lady energy through and through. And I ain’t mad at it.

Pretty in Pink
Nicole Beharie also brought colour to the carpet in a pink Bibhu Mohapatra midi. The off-shoulder cut and puffed sleeves made it fun, while the silhouette kept it elegant. A refreshing pop against a mostly black carpet.

Bowed But Not Wow’d
Reese Witherspoon ditched her usual silhouette for David Koma, but this black dress was a letdown. The oversized bow tried to save it, yet the whole look felt underwhelming—especially given what we expect from Koma. Rahaminov Diamonds Jewelry completed her look.
All together, the night delivered a mix of safe bets, risks, and a few scene-stealing surprises—just enough fashion drama before the new season even begins.
