Reports in Italy claim that Juventus are preparing to present a formal offer to Sporting CP for in-demand centre-forward Viktor Gyokeres, who is expected to be sold during the summer transfer window.
The Sweden international has caught the attention of a number of high-profile clubs across Europe after netting 97 goals from 102 appearances across all competitions over the last two years. He came up with a staggering 54 goals and 13 assists from 52 matches at club level in 2024-25.
However, while there has been interest from the Premier League, Gyokeres is not keen on joining Manchester United without the prospect of European football next season, while Arsenal are currently leaning towards Benjamin Sesko of RB Leipzig instead.

That leaves Juventus in an encouraging position in the race to land Gyokeres from Sporting this summer.
Reports Juventus preparing €70m Gyokeres bid
Corriere dello Sport claims that Juventus are now preparing a bid, which could be tabled over the next few days, worth around €70m all told.

Gyokeres has a release clause worth €100m in his current deal with Sporting, but multiple outlets believe that he will be allowed to leave for an offer of €60m plus €10m in bonuses this summer.
Sporting Club President Frederico Varandas denies that this is the case.
Despite Varandas’s recent comments, Corriere dello Sport remains confident that an offer in the region of €70m plus €10m will be enough to convince Sporting into selling Gyokeres this summer.
