Cathay Pacific’s Commitment to North America

The Vancouver-Hong Kong route holds historical significance for Cathay Pacific as it was the airline’s first long-haul route connecting North America with Asia over four decades ago. To commemorate this, Cathay Pacific is introducing its Aria Suite business class to the region, reaffirming the importance of North America to its overall operations.

Chris Vanden Hooven, Senior Vice President for the Americas, emphasized the milestone, saying, “Vancouver was our first long-haul destination in North America, and introducing the Aria Suite business class here highlights the region’s importance to us. We’re proud to offer our customers an elevated travel experience with this new product.”

In addition to expanding luxury options on the Vancouver-Hong Kong route, Cathay Pacific is also strengthening its presence across North America. Recently, the airline launched a non-stop flight connecting Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) to Hong Kong, marking the longest flight in the carrier’s entire network.

Increased Connectivity for Travelers

Cathay Pacific’s expansion is designed to provide more seamless travel options between North America and Hong Kong. With more than 110 weekly return flights between North America and Hong Kong, passengers can expect greater flexibility and convenience in choosing their preferred travel times.

  • Benefits of Increased Connectivity:
    • Over 110 weekly return flights between North America and Hong Kong
    • Expanding travel options for both business and leisure travelers
    • Strengthened connectivity for customers flying between these two global regions

A Transformative Travel Experience

Cathay Pacific’s commitment to luxury and convenience is evident in the launch of the Aria Suite business class. Whether for a business trip or a leisurely vacation, the suite promises to redefine comfort in the sky, providing an exclusive experience that combines privacy, style, and top-tier service.

As the Aria Suite gradually rolls out across Cathay Pacific’s fleet, the airline is redefining what it means to travel in style. For those flying between Vancouver and Hong Kong, the experience promises to be more than just a flight—it’s a chance to enjoy a truly luxurious and relaxing journey, where every moment spent in the air is as memorable as the destination.
