BeIN Media Group Unveils Comprehensive Live Coverage For LaLiga’s New Season in MENA

As the new season of LaLiga kicks off tomorrow evening, beIN Media Group has announced its live coverage plans for the MENA region.

Continuing its long-standing partnership with Spain’s premier football league, which began in 2003, beIN will broadcast all 380 matches of the upcoming season live and exclusively on its primary beIN Sports channels. Fans can look forward to coverage of Arabic, English, and French across all 24 MENA markets. The season opener features Girona facing Rayo Vallecano at 20:00 MECCA on beIN Sports 3.

Much pre-season attention is on Real Madrid’s new head coach, Xabi Alonso, and whether he can close the gap with the reigning champions, Barcelona. Live studio coverage for the opening match will commence at 20:00 MECCA on beIN Sports 3, hosted by Saudi presenter Tariq Al-Hammad, along with analysts Tariq Al Jalahma from Kuwait and Youssef Chippo from Morocco, providing commentary in both Arabic and English.

Real Madrid’s first match will be on Tuesday against Osasuna at 21:30 MECCA. At the same time, their city rivals, Atletico Madrid, will start their campaign on Sunday with an away match against Espanyol at 22:30 MECCA. Coverage of Atletico’s opener will follow Athletic Club’s home match against Sevilla at 20:30 MECCA, both airing live on beIN Sports 3, featuring studio insights from Mohammed Saadon, Youssef Chippo, and Wael Gomaa.

Last season, beIN’s broadcasts of LaLiga drew a remarkable cumulative audience of 2.5 billion viewers across MENA, demonstrating the league’s strong fan base in the region. With the return of stars like Barcelona’s Lamine Yamal, Atletico Madrid’s Julian Alvarez, and Athletic Bilbao’s Nico Williams, as well as notable newcomers such as Real Madrid’s Trent Alexander-Arnold, Girona’s Vitor Reis, and Real Sociedad’s Goncalo Guedes, fans are in for an exciting season of Spanish football.

Duncan Walkinshaw, the Director of beIN MENA, stated: “Last year, we proudly announced the extension of our exclusive broadcast rights agreement with LaLiga, ensuring that beIN remains the home of Spanish football in the MENA region until the end of the 2027-28 season. As committed partners for 23 years, we are thrilled to continue contributing to the league’s global growth through our top-notch broadcasting and significant investment. We’re eagerly anticipating what promises to be another thrilling season showcasing some of the world’s finest players and historic teams.”

The relationship between beIN and LaLiga has developed over the past 20 years. This season, the broadcaster will collaborate to promote the league’s LaLiga Fantasy video game, recently launched by EA SPORTS in Arabic. Information on gameplay, strategies, and prize details will be shared across beIN’s social media platforms.

BeIN will broadcast every single LaLiga match exclusively in all 24 MENA territories: Algeria, Bahrain, Chad, Djibouti, Egypt, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Mauritania, Morocco, Oman, Palestine, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, South Sudan, Sudan, Syria, Tunisia, UAE, and Yemen.
