Barcelona keen on signing Daniel Munoz

Barcelona are interested in signing the Crystal Palace defender, Daniel Munoz.

The 29-year-old has done quite well for the Premier League club, and his performances have attracted the attention of the Spanish outfit, as per Fichajes. Barcelona need to add more quality and depth in the full-back areas, and Munoz could prove to be an excellent addition.

The defender is reportedly valued at around €25 million right now. Barcelona certainly have the financial resources to get the deal across the line, and it remains to be seen whether they decide to make a move for him at the end of the season. Crystal Palace will not want to lose a key player like him in the middle of the campaign. Any move might have to wait until the summer transfer window.

Meanwhile, the defender will be attracted to the idea of joining Barcelona. It would be a huge opportunity for him, and he would get to join one of the best clubs in the world. Barcelona should have no problems convincing the defender to join the club.

Barcelona will look to continue fighting for major trophies, and they need to keep improving the team. The 29-year-old Premier League star will certainly help them improve at both ends of the pitch. It remains to be seen whether they can get the deal across the line.

Munoz is capable of operating as a red right back as well as a right-sided wing back. He will look to contribute at both ends of the pitch if he joins the club. The move to Barcelona from Crystal Palace would be a huge step up, and the 29-year-old will certainly hope that Barcelona follow up on their interest with an official proposal to sign him.
