All the Celebrities on the 2025 Tony Awards Red Carpet

Theater’s biggest night is here yet again, and this time around, it’s looking less small stage, and more big Hollywood. The 2025 Tony Awards are taking place tonight at New York City’s Radio City Music Hall, honoring the best Broadway musicals and plays—as well as the greatest actors, crews, and behind-the-scenes Broadway creatives—of the past year.

This year’s ceremony will be hosted by none other than Broadway legend and Wicked star Cynthia Erivo, who plays the fearless Elphaba in the 2024 film adaptation of the iconic musical. (We only hope costar Ariana Grande joins her for a dramatic performance on stage.)

Big stars nominated tonight include George Clooney for his record-breaking play Good Night, and Good Luck, and Nicole Scherzinger for Sunset Blvd.

Clooney is up against several actors for his award: Cole Escola for the beloved show Oh, Mary!, Daniel Dae Kim for Yellow Face, Louis McCartney for Stranger Things: The First Shadow, and both Jon Michael Hill and Harry Lennix for Purpose.

Other popular actors nominated include Sadie Sink for John Proctor is the Villain, Sarah Snook for The Picture of Dorian Gray, Mia Farrow for The Roommate, Darren Criss for Maybe Happy Ending, Jonathan Groff for Just In Time, and Audra McDonald for Gypsy.

The 78th Tony Awards will air on CBS and Paramount+ at 8 p.m. ET, but the red carpet will start much earlier. Watch this space for the best red-carpet looks.
